Our mission

 to equip parents with the information they need to make a knowledgeable decisions regarding their child's health, based on current research and available information. 

 to promote and participate in life-affirming research in hopes of finding a cause, and subsequently a cure, for complex abdominal wall defects. 

   to support parents as they journey through their grief at every stage of the process. 

    to encourage parents and medical professionals to separate cases where numerous, non-lethal defects are present and cases in which there are lethal anomalies.  

  to encourage aggressive treatment during pregnancy, when parents desire, to promote growth and lung maturity for the affected baby, in hopes of survival for those babies who present with no individually lethal defects.   

 to encourage medical professionals to utilize perinatal hospice practices where available, and where not available, to treat patients who continue their pregnancies with respect and compassion.
